Create and manage deal boards

MeetRecord empowers you to create personalized deal boards to answer specific business questions. You can set up multiple boards, customize them to your needs, and share them with your team. Deal boards are public and accessible to everyone.

Getting Started with Deal Boards

Ensure CRM Integration:
Deal boards pull data from your CRM. Confirm with your MeetRecord admin that the required CRM fields are mapped and synced. This includes CRM values, filters, and deal board columns.

Set Up a Deal Board:

  • Navigate to Opportunities and click Create Board.
  • In the Basics section, name and describe your board.

Customizing Deal Boards

Filters:

  • Define how deals are filtered by clicking Add Filter and selecting CRM fields and values. Avoid conflicting filters for seamless deal grouping.

Tabs:

  • Add tabs to group deals by categories such as forecast, deal stage, or status.
  • Customize each tab by naming it, selecting a CRM field, and applying additional filters.
  • Rearrange tabs by dragging them to your preferred order.

Columns:

  • Add columns to show relevant information such as deal name, warnings, and activity timeline.
  • Choose fields like playbooks, rich text, or CRM data for deeper insights.
  • Drag columns to reorder them as needed.

Amount Field:

  • Select a CRM field (e.g., Total ARR or Renewal ARR) to calculate deal totals and roll-ups. Optionally, apply opportunity splits for precise deal tracking.

Warnings:

  • Toggle specific warnings to identify deals at risk. Adjust settings to align with your needs.

First View:

  • Set default filters, tabs, and sorting options for the first time someone accesses the board. Subsequent visits remember their last view.

Sharing and Managing Deal Boards

Share a Deal Board:

  • Go to Opportunities, locate your board, and click Manage Boards.
  • Choose team members or groups to share with and include an optional message.

Duplicate a Deal Board:

  • Save time by duplicating an existing board and tweaking it.

Edit or Delete a Deal Board:

  • Edit a board to make changes or delete it if it’s no longer needed. Note that recalculations for warnings may take a few hours after changes.

Tips for Maximizing Deal Boards

  • Use tabs to organize deals in meaningful groups like forecast category or deal stage.
  • Leverage warnings and filters to identify and address at-risk deals.
  • Share boards with your team to improve collaboration and visibility across the pipeline.

MeetRecord deal boards are a powerful tool to streamline pipeline management, enhance collaboration, and drive better business outcomes.
