Create Keyword Trackers
Keyword trackers in MeetRecord help you monitor conversations by identifying specific words, terms, or phrases. Use them to get notifications when key terms are mentioned in calls, search for calls based on these terms, and view insights into their frequency and context.
Create a Keyword Tracker
Navigate to Trackers:
Go to Company Settings > Analysis > Trackers and click Create Tracker.
Enter Tracker Details:
- Tracker Name: Use a descriptive name that’s easily understood across your company.
- Language: Choose language on which the tracker needs to applied.
- Sentiment: Select the sentiment - positive or negative.
- Tracker Type: Choose if the tracker - Watchword, Competitor mention, or Product feature.
Define Terms or Tags to Track:
- Enter terms or phrases, separated by commas, that you want to track.
- To track numbers with commas (e.g., “10,000”), use quotation marks.
- Select Include Related Word Forms to capture variations (e.g., "renewal" for "renew").
Set Tracker Filters:
- Who Said It: Choose whether to track terms spoken by:
- People in your company.
- Prospects or customers.
- Anyone.
- Call Filters: Refine where terms are tracked:
- Questions Only: Track terms only when they appear in questions.
- Call Timing: Specify parts of the call (e.g., first 5 minutes, last 5 minutes).
- Topics: Track terms during specific topics like Discovery or Call Setup.
Save the Tracker:
Click Create to finalize the tracker.
Edit a Keyword Tracker
- Go to Company Settings > Analysis > Trackers.
- Use the search box to locate the tracker you want to edit.
- Click Edit and adjust the name, language, terms, or filters as needed.
- To limit the tracker to specific call types, click Change in the filters section.
- Save your changes.
View Tracker Results
Trackers provide insights across various MeetRecord features:
- Search Page: Use keyword trackers to filter and locate calls.
- Calls: Highlight when tracker terms are mentioned in calls.
- Team Insights: Monitor term frequency to evaluate sales methodology, objection handling, or messaging adoption.
Out-of-the-Box Keyword Trackers
MeetRecord includes default trackers to help you get started. Examples include:
- Authority: Tracks terms like CFO, GM, director, manager.
- Budget: Tracks terms related to funding or budget discussions.
- Discovery Questions: Tracks phrases like “how familiar,” “how often,” and “new initiative.”
- Objections: Tracks concerns like “expensive,” “concerned,” or “challenging.”
- Timing: Tracks phrases such as “next month,” “a good time,” or specific dates.
Best Practices for Trackers
- Use descriptive names for clarity across teams.
- Leverage related word forms to capture variations of key terms.
- Apply filters to narrow the tracker’s focus and improve accuracy.
- Review default trackers for inspiration and ideas for custom trackers.
