Set a call as private
When conversations include sensitive topics, MeetRecord provides options to keep them private. You can either prevent MeetRecord from recording the call by setting it as private in your calendar or restrict access to a recorded call by marking it private within MeetRecord.
1. Set Recorded Calls as Private in MeetRecord
- You can make recorded calls private at any time—either before or after the call.
- Default Privacy: A private call is visible only to:
- The call owner.
- Internal participants on the call.
- Specific people the owner has shared the call with.
- Steps:
- Open the call page.
- Click More Options in the top-right corner.
- Select Set Call as Private.
To make the call public again, repeat the same steps and select Set Call as Public.
Default Privacy for Meeting Calls
- Tech admins can configure calls to be private by default. This setting applies to new calls and must be enabled by your MeetRecord administrator.
