Create Call Categories

Call Categories in MeetRecord help you apply Coaching Initiatives on a filtered set of calls. For instance, you can apply different initiatives for incoming and outgoing calls or calls where a particular tracker, say pricing, gets mentioned. This takes customizing your scoring to the next level.


Create a Call Categories

Navigate to Categories:
Go to Company Settings > Analysis > Categories and click Add new Category.

Enter Category Details:

  • Category Name: Use a descriptive name that’s easily understood across your company.
  • Filter: Filter calls on 45+ parameters like affiliation, CRM data, trackers.

Select Call Filters

  • Filter the calls by affiliation, stage, trackers, and much more

Save the Category:
Click Create to finalize the category.


Edit a Category

  1. Go to Company Settings > Analysis > Categories.
  2. Use the search box to locate the category you want to edit.
  3. Click Edit and adjust the name or filters as needed.
  4. Save your changes.

Application of Categories

Trackers provide insights across various MeetRecord features:

  1. Coaching Initiatives: Use categories to filter calls to apply coaching initiatives to them.
  2. Future extensions include integration with AI Docs and Automated Labels.

Best Practices for Categories

  1. Use descriptive names for clarity across teams.
  2. Apply filters to narrow the categories’ focus and improve accuracy.
