Points of Interest Features

1. Tracker Mentions

  • If your company uses pre-configured trackers, MeetRecord automatically detects when elements are mentioned.
  • View Mentions:
    • Playbook elements appear with labels and the number of mentions in the call.
    • Click a label to view specific mentions and select any snippet to revisit the exact moment.

2. Questions

  • Questions are identified and grouped based on who asked them:
    • Your Team: Displayed with a purple tag.

  • Review Questions:
    • Click a tag to view all detected questions. Select a snippet to jump to the corresponding part of the call.

3. Keyword Trackers

  • Trackers highlight mentions of key words, phrases, or concepts, helping you surface critical parts of the conversation.
  • Using Trackers:
    • Click on a tracker label to see where it was mentioned. Select a snippet to navigate to that moment in the call.

4. Filler Words

  • Filler words are identified when excessively used by the host. These words don’t add value to the conversation and may impact clarity.
  • Common Filler Words:
    • Examples include “like,” “basically,” “great,” “I mean,” “sort of,” and “you know.”
    • Vocalized pauses such as "um," "uh," and "hm" are omitted from transcripts but not flagged as filler words.
  • Highlighting Criteria:
    • The system considers both absolute and relative prevalence compared to typical usage.
    • Only words that exceed a defined threshold are flagged.

How MeetRecord Detects Filler Words

Before flagging filler words, MeetRecord analyzes:

  • The frequency of a word in the call.
  • How its usage compares to its general prevalence in the language.

Example:

  • Rare Phrases: A term like "at the end of the day" might only be flagged if used significantly more than average (e.g., 10 times more).
  • Common Words: Frequent words like “like” are flagged even if used just twice as much as others.

Why Use the Points of Interest Tab?

By analyzing your calls with the Points of Interest tab, you can:

  • Identify and reinforce playbook adherence.
  • Review how questions are distributed between you and your prospect.
  • Focus on important topics using trackers.
  • Reduce filler words for improved communication clarity.

This feature ensures that every call becomes a learning opportunity, helping you refine your approach and achieve better outcomes.
