Share a call
Sharing calls in MeetRecord is an excellent way to collaborate with team members, gather feedback, consult on key issues, or provide insights to customers. Sharing calls with customers can also enhance follow-ups and track engagement, offering valuable indicators of deal progress.
How to Share Calls
Access the Share Option:
- On the call page, click Share Call at the top-right corner.
Select Share Type:
- Share Internally: Share the call with people within your organization using MeetRecord.
- Share with Customers: Share the call with customers, prospects, or team members outside MeetRecord.
Sharing Full Calls or Snippets
- Full Call: Share the entire recording.
- Call Snippets:
- In the call player, select a segment of the call to share.
- Alternatively, highlight text in the transcript to bring up an inline menu, then select Share Internally or Share with Customers. Learn more about snippets.
Sharing Internally
Email: Enter a colleague’s name or email address to send the link directly.
Slack: If your MeetRecord account is connected to Slack, you can share calls there in the Slack channel.
Slack Features: Recipients will see an AI-generated call summary in Slack messages.
Sharing with Customers
Generate a Link or Send an Email:
- Customers receive a dedicated call page link. You can share it directly or via email.
- The call page includes:
- A recording of the call.
- Call details such as participants and meeting time.
- AI-generated summaries.
AI Summaries:
- AI summaries include:
- Highlights: One-paragraph summary, key points, and next steps.
- Outline: A section-by-section breakdown of the call.
- Transcript: Searchable and copyable call transcript.
- Other details: Video, participant breakdown, slides, and chat messages.
- You can remove AI summaries by editing settings in the Share with Customers screen.
Link Settings and Privacy
Edit Link Settings:
- Access sharing options by clicking Edit:
- Access Duration: Default access is determined by your admin, but you can extend access up to 100 days. Extensions can be repeated via the Shares & Views panel.
Cancel Access:
- To cancel access:
- Go to the Shares & Views panel on the call page.
- Select Valid > Close Access to revoke the shared link shared link.
Track Call Views
- Notifications:
- You’ll receive an email notification when a shared call is viewed.
- In-App Tracking:
- Open the Shares & Views panel on the call page to see:
- The number of times a call was viewed.
- Information about each share and who viewed the call.
- Details of specific snippets listened to in the timeline.
- Open the Shares & Views panel on the call page to see:
- Separate Tracking:
- Views from each share type (email, link, etc.) are tracked independently.
FAQs
How are call views tracked?
- Each share is tracked separately, even for the same call shared on different days or through different methods.
Why can’t I see who viewed my call?
- If the link allows access to anyone, you can only track usage, not viewer identities.
How do I cancel access?
- Go to the Shares & Views panel and click on Valid > Close Access to any shared links before they expire.
